I'm just now seeing this.

Van Mows Down Pedestrians Near London Mosque, Massive Police Response

Several people were injured after a van reportedly plowed into pedestrians in the Finsbury Park area of London Sunday.

The incident happened near a prominent Mosque as witnesses claim the driver intentionally struck the victims—a male driver was taken into police custody.

There was a massive police response and multiple ambulances were on scene.

LOL! I can't really get any factual details .... yet.

Sky News was carrying it, just talking to witnesses living around there. They switched to regular news.

BBC isn't carrying it, last time I looked.

The "white" guy they arrested looks Middle Eastern to me.

I'm watching Fox and they are bellyaching over if this is a revenge attack then it is just wrong and playing right into the hands of ISIS.

So far all the stories coming from the Muslims present on the scene are opposing each other. Some say that there were 3 people in the van, some say the driver got out with a knife, some say the driver got out punching and kicking, and are we really to believe that a group Muslims let 2 folks run off?


Supposedly a "reformed" Mosque so it may have been a savage of Islam who didn't like this mosque in particular.

I KNOW that I am quick to label radical Islamic terrorism..... I dont feel I am being hypocritical in this case. The fact is senseless savagery turns out to be Islams (Mostly).. even this incident might.

Watching Sky News now, people are acting crazy, others wanted to be interviewed and screaming at interviewer.

I just saw a witness who also said there were three people in the van. :40

Also the driver had a knife and one person was stabbed.

IF there were three, this is a horse of a different color... to being a single "white" man.

Rumpole, witness said they had driver on ground for 5 minutes and he was not drunk. ;)

ETA: Another witness said man was sober. lol

Eight taken to hospitals.

Two people treated at scene.

NO ONE has a knife injury.

I didn't think you believed the report Molly, you were just sharing the info as it is coming in :69 .

And have you noticed the "How wonderful Muslims are" refrain starting? Muslims that were just run over didn't take revenge on their attacker but instead simply held him and turned him over to the police when they arrived :roll .

If this DOES turn out to be "a revenge attack".... a white guy doing Islamic savagery... then it really WILL be "news"

I will be very disappointed... Terrorist type Savagery is a "Muslim thing"

EVEN IF it is a Welsh guy... I will regard it as savagery!

It will be USED as an example to "prove" terrorism is NOT an Islam thing in the future.. which will not help in the war on ISLAMIC terrorism.

NOTE
I find it NOT PLAUSIBLE that a Welshman out and about in London at midnight would NOT be drunk?
