Apparently... the TEST and authority on whether something is a bomb/terrorism is SHEP SMITH.

Handy to know.. whenever there is a "suspicious package" somewhere... send in Shep to poke it with a stick!!

On our trip to UK... we stayed a few nights in Manchester.. central city.. not exactly at this spot... but I can imagine the scene.

Reports of a SECOND DEVICE... found and due to be blown up with controlled explosion.

ETA
The controlled explosion carried out by Greater Manchester police on a suspicious device in Cathedral gardens, just minutes from the arena. Police have since confirmed that the item was abandoned clothing and now not thought to be suspicious.

I'm not sure I would be keen to go to Paris or London.... Today....you simply can not avoid places like Train stations, airports.

I did not give it a thought when I went 3 years ago.. even though there had been past incidents in London... and I was staying in Praed Street (lots of Muslims). I guess it's human to not be so fearful.

Officials have said they KNOW who the loser is but they are not releasing his name.

I appreciate the need to swoop on his associates and the need to avoid alerting them but…. The mere fact that the authorities have announced publicly that they have identified the perp will cause his associates to scatter already. IMO there is no (good) reason to with hold his name
