It has been nebulous but I have heard two - three men in the apartment. Someone with arms knowledge said the first two sounds were definitely percussion grenades .

According to MSNBC one terrorist was killed by a sniper (there was a weapons expert on somewhere tonight who said he distinctly heard sniper fire) and that a female terrorist blew herself up during the beginning of the raid.
