Belgian police have issued an international arrest warrant for a possible eighth assailant involved in Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris in which 129 people were killed.

The man is believed to be one of three French brothers who were living in Belgium. One of the brothers died in the attacks while another was recorded crossing the border from France into Belgium on Saturday, though the authorities were not aware of his possible involvement at that time.

Two of the brothers’ names were on the rental contract of cars hired in Belgium and used in the assaults. A third brother was arrested by Belgian police but subsequently released.

French police issue arrest warrant for Paris terror suspect

Police Nationale has just issued this arrest warrant for Abdeslam Salah, suspected of being involved in the Paris attacks.

The police warn people not to approach Salah and say he is “dangerous”.



Salah is believed to be one of three brothers suspected of involvement in the attacks.

A senior European intelligence official quoted by the Washington Post said Salah and his brother Ibrahim, Frenchmen who lived in Belgium, were both suspects.

One of the brothers was said to be a suicide bomber, the Post said, while the other – believed to be Salah – was thought to be a logistics coordinator who rented one of the cars used in the attack.

Hospitals around Paris have said that the death toll has risen to 132 after three more people died on Sunday. Some 352 people were injured in Friday’s attack, nearly 100 of whom critically.

Hmm… Can anyone tell me who the seventh dead Muslim terrorist is ? 3 died at the concert, 2 detonated suicide vests, 1 killed by police. 2 detonated suicide belts at the stadium. One detonated suicide bomb at a restaurant in Boulevaurd Voltaire. One is identified as Appel A Temoins/Abdeslam Salah and he is on the run.
