This stage is a little different... Defense go first... and get last word... it is THEY who are seeking mitigation... as opposed to STATE laying the actual charges... so in effect positions are reversed

The amazingly energetic Jane V-M on HLN is saying Jenny's close basically torpedoed Jodi's plea to spare her life. I agree. Jenny isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.

I'm thinking deliberations could take awhile. It was easy for all 12 to convict her of murder 1 based on the evidence. It was easy for all 12 to apply the aggravating factor based on the evidence.

But now all 12 have to agree to put her to death. I dunno. I think they'll be awhile.

Gosh, tell me your true feelings people,
because I wanted her to have Lwop,
then after that ridiculous f*ing dialogue to save her life,
I wanted her to get death, because she wouldn't fess-up,
accept her own responsibility, and most of all, apologize for any of it.
Or say something to Travis's family.
BAH! Now she can go to the death chamber for all I care.
She still doesn't "get it".
