6:35 p.m. ET: Martinez asked if Geffner has praised DeMarte's work. Geffner said no and he only criticized only part of DeMarte's evaluation of Arias. The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

6:32 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Geffner whether DeMarte messed up when she scored Arias TSI tests. Geffner accidently poured more water on the witness stand and now he is cleaning it up.

6:30 p.m. ET: Arias hasn't stopped taking notes since Martinez started his cross examination of Geffner.

6:43 p.m. ET: The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

6:42 p.m. ET: Geffner agreed with Martinez that he doesn't necesarily need the summary scales. He tried to explain his answer, but Martinez cut him off and is now asking about another psychological test Arias took.

6:38 p.m. ET: DeMarte did not score Arias summary scales on the TSI test. Geffner testified earlier that it was a failure on her part for not scoring those scales. Martinez is pointing out that all summary scales do is summarize the results that are provided through the answers.

This new "thank you" tactic of Juan's to cut off someone from a long answer is very interesting. New material from Juan.

6:52 p.m. ET: The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

6:51 p.m. ET: Arias took the TSI test twice about a year and half apart. Martinez is asked Geffner how the results from both TSI tests compare to each other.

Geffner said 5 of the 7 elevated scales were similar the second time she took the TSI.

I haven't seen any new juror questions since Juan has been up. There were a few from when Willmott was on direct.

6:58 p.m. ET: Martinez asked Geffner to review a study that seems to indicate Arias' test results show she has a personality disorder. Geffner keeps trying to Martinez that he is confusing issues.

When Juan asks how many autopsies doctor has performed, he went on to ask, "hundreds?" :lol

Dr. G has never gone in and inspected a brain or an autopsy. He has no experience with decomposed brains.

7:10 p.m. ET: Geffner said he last used the PDS three or four years ago. He used the test regularly to access trauma. The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

7:08 p.m. ET: Martinez is jumping around with his questions now. He is now asking about the PDS test. The test Arias lied about how Alexander died.

7:05 p.m. ET: Martinez has now moved on the subject of brain injuries. He asked Geffner if he has ever taken a brain outside of a body or seen a decomposed brain. Geffner said he has never performed an autopsy.

7:01 p.m. ET: Geffner is sticking to his guns. He has said repeatedly that the TSI is not used to diagnosis for personality disorder, but he does acknowledge that TSI results could show a correlation.

7:21 p.m. ET: Geffner said to find out the trajectory of a bullet passing through the brain he would have to go to expert like a medical examinar. Martinez has finished his cross examination of Geffner. The judge has recessed court for 10 minutes. When court resumes Willmott will begin her re-direct examination of Geffner.

7:19 p.m. ET: Geffner said he can not tell Martinez the trajectory of the bullet as it passed through Alexander's skull based solely on photos.

7:17 p.m. ET: Martinez has jumped back to asking questions about Alexander's head injury. The prosecutor is showing Geffner pictures of inside Alexander's head.

7:15 p.m. ET: Geffner said the PDS does not have any validity scales.

7:14 p.m. ET: When defense expert Richard Samuels adminstered the PDS to Arias he filled out the answers for her. Martinez is asking Geffner why a psychologist would fill out answers for client. He said unless they are unable to do it the client would fill out their answers.
