How awful. The other jurors I heard called this most recently booted juror, the CEO and possibly thought of him as their candidates for their Foreperson. (Is that what they are called?) I think THIS CASE could make ANYONE DRINK ... especially a juror!

Watching Nancy Grace now... then Dr. Drew.

I think the trouble started when Jodi was CAUGHT. She was growing POT on the roof in her mother's Tupperware. They called the Police and started keeping a close eye on her and her room. I think because of that and having her Goth boyfriend ... left at age 17?

So ... DRUGS?

I always mention that to my friends, and they laugh, but it usually turns out to be true. I can't believe I didn't say/think
that THIS TIME.

I Wonder, I Wonder :DN4

Here was Travis' business. Pre Paid Legal.

Hmmm have they changed their name? I typed in Pre Paid Legal. This says Legalshield?

BACK to work. :Q26

Thanks, Joni - I always enjoy reading Dr. Lillian Glass and missed it for this case.

It's also something how Pre-Paid Legal changed their company name to Legal Shield. Thanks to Jodi. :95

Has anyone heard this business about the defense team requesting that Dr. Geffner be allowed to give his opinion on the bullet and how it affected Travis's functioning???

I'm astounded by this! And isn't this one of the very things that Dr. Geffner got in trouble for doing in another case he testified for??

How could they possibly think this man, who is not a medical doctor, who is not a medical examiner could opine??? Please tell me the judge has put the kibosh on this!!!

A proper RECOGNISED physiological Psychologist may well be able to comment...

But.... it's not the sort of thing a mere clinical psychologist would have expertise in.

IMO if THAT sort of opinion is now allowed in... at the very least the prosecution should be allowed to call re-sur-rebuttal witnesses.... this is getting silly!!!

I must find a link, but I have read that Dr. Geffner is a neuro-psychologist.

Wonder how many victims of gunshot to the head (and frontal lobe) this man has treated? :roll

MM they are desperate - looks like.

State wants to put another witness on. A Neuro Psychologist.
Soon might be Sur Sur Rebuttal? GOOD!!!!

Who but a person who cannot be rehabilitated will get the D.P.?
Who but an evil S.O.B. would drag out a painful, frightening slaughter?
I hope they can prove all of this.

Absolute cruelty ALL that stabbing as he Just remembered - SHE DID. I just remembered they found 2 knives in her rented car when arrested. Box of bullets too, and a gun? I always felt she had 2 knives. Some wounds were on top of other wounds.

UNFORTUNATELY

There are documented cases of people functioning to a greater or lesser degree with extensive brain damage.

I doubt that would apply to bullet thru the frontal lobe... including a shock wave as "Dr Hunk" described

But..... since Dr Hunk testified.... decomposition prevented a full detailed analysis of brain tissue... so with that "doubt" the Defence expert can in turn argue doubt about the likely effect :(

:lol about "Dr. Hunk" - hubba hubba!

That's what I'm thinking - wouldn't Geffner testify as to TREATING someone with this? Neuro-psychologist as opposed to neurosurgeon?

I know, the decomposition setting in so quickly made it difficult, even for Dr. Hunk, to conclusively know everything.

Did I hear that if someone was walking, and got shot like that, they could stumble a couple steps further before they went down? Momentum?
Think I heard Dr. Horn/Hunk say that.

Jodi must have thought her one stab to the heart ... and dead. Travis didn't die like that. Surprise Jodi.
Maybe that's why overkill, overkill, overkill?

Yes, Joni, I heard Dr. Hunk say that - the momentum, if he was walking would take him another step or two - but tackle her "like a linebacker"? NO. Her story makes NO sense.

I think Jodi freaked when Travis kept walking (towards the sink) after that first stab wound - then her fury began, is my opinion.

Remote I have always felt that way too.

Have the 2 knives found in her rented car been ruled out as the murder weapons? Not involved with the "blood bath"? The gun found in it was a 9mm?

She is some fragile widdle shy girl isn't she? BRAVO JUAN! He dismantled that false image of her during his cross examination of her. WE SAW the REAL JODI! BRAVO!

From those stab wounds, it looks like it was a heavy duty type of knife. Don't think they ever tied in the knives found in her car when they arrested her to the murder type of weapon.

I didn't hear anything anywhere about what type of knife could have been used? Wonder if it was the same knife she used to slash the tires?

Apparently, there was a closed hearing today in the Arias case.

Court will resume tomorrow at 9:00am AZ time (12 noon EDT)

State may "possibly" call Dr. Jill Hayes (neuro-psychologist) to the stand after Dr. Geffner. Possibly.

Here's some info on her. Think Jodi will be jealous? hee hee
