You are exactly right, SheStone.

I am thinking - no more seeing Jodi in court, reading about her, delays-delays-delays, craziness re jurors, defense attorneys, etc. This part is over.

And continued prayers for the Alexander family after today. :rose

What a hateful statement JA read, with lightening speed. :eek
No wonder Nurmi still wants out.

Hi Molly and Shestone :69

I will have to catch up later as I am out the door.

I can't wait to read Jodi's statement.

Live, eat, breath and die in a cage Jodi, that is where you belong.

Hi Carm, I can't either. She was talking so fast I couldn't understand half of it.
I'm looking for it now. :98

Me thinks some of us may want to discuss. :34

FYI Rump, one of the first news articles to come out about the sentencing was The New Zealand Herald. :)

And fwiw, Arias will serve her sentence at the Lumley Unit in the Arizona State Prison Complex-Perryville near Goodyear, Arizona.

Hi Molly :28

Arias said she had wanted to ask for death for years, but later begged for her life because the death sentence would be an escape from accountability.

As always Jodi is just being altruistic in her desire to live rather than go prematurely to her dirt nap.

What a piece of work. I haven't found the transcript yet but I'm going to listen to her pontificate on how she is sorry, but not really because well, she doesn't really think, given the circumstances that her slice, dice and stuff him routine perfumed on Travis was all that bad given who Travis really was.

Piss off Jodi enjoy your cage.

And Rumpole my Dear, I would like to thank you for your kind and gentle words of encouragement on this thread :rose :heart :17 your fucking pal, Carmelita :77

Just listened and it was both repulsive and fascinating.

My thoughts;

Well there you go it is that braggart Alexander family who refused to settle this case who caused all these problems :WW . And they put their thumbs down on the courthouse steps because they didn’t want to settle :TF . Bastards.

And death is gong to bring St. Jodi total peace and freedom :1

And again with the lie that on the night she slaughtered Travis she was fighting for her life :94

The dramatic pause to look over her shoulder at her family was flat out creepy :smoke

She did not drag Travis’s name through the mud she only told the truth about Travis :98

And a bitch slap at Juan who would Jodi be if she didn't snark at Juan :stamp

Oh and poor Jodi didn’t understand the difference between discipline and abuse, but she does now :52 Yey! Jodi!

And of course she is so very sorry for hurting those who loved Travis, aren’t those the same people she just mocked about standing on the courthouse steps with their thumbs down?

Jodi is disgusted and repulsed by herself? Welcome to my world Jodi, I am disgusted and repulsed by you also :63

The question I now have is were all of Jodi’s pauses to lick chocolate out of her teeth :17

Simply a fascinating study in psychopathy and evil.

Wow. What a dumb arrogant creep she is.

You are welcome, Carm.

I WAS interested in first Arias trial... but this lot dragged on too long. I might have been able to drum up a bit more enthusiasm IF it had been live streamed :cool

And... I love your summary that popped up before I could post this :give

Thanks Rumpole :rose

I didn't watch 95% of the Arias trial, in fact it was just as it was ending that I found that there were boards dedicated to "crime" which is a good thing because that is eventually how I found my way here :17

The circuitous route through WS I took to get here is a jolly memory.

As as you already know I am fascinated by nutters and people in general so it does't take a whole lot to to keep me entertained. Nutter Jodi pontificating about how she has chosen life to punish herself and chastising the Alexander family for not settling the case then thinking that will sway the judge in a positive way is so off the charts in social retardation that I couldn't be anything but fascinated by it :63

Hi Littlelaughter and thanks :blush Jodi is so ludicrous she makes it easy.

Thanks for contibuting to RT. :give

I am happy to follow ANY case that even one RT Member has an interest in. Personally, I cant drum up interest in some cases.. but that's just me.

We did have a lot of fun with FERGUSON generally.. several spin-off cases. And right now the Walter Scott Shooting has some interest.. if only to speculate a little while the actual facts of the case are emerging.

There are a few cases that we (Molly) updates.. like James Holmes - Aurora Movie Theatre Mass Murder, the Boston Bomber, etc

Hi Rumpole~ :86
And a heartfelt thank you to Molly for the kind words!
I am like Carmelita in that I am intrigued by the insanity! Not the insanity of those that hang it all out there to see, as if proud of how nuts they are (like cereal bath girl). :40 It's the ones who think no one else will ever find out and if they do, well- no worries, for the nut believes they're smarter and more clever than anyone else. I'm looking for another case like that!

So I guess what I'm actually saying is that I can't wait for another lunatic killer!?!
We know they're out there- it's not like I'm hoping someone just up and offs another! I'm just waiting for them to get caught! :-D
