Defamation lawsuit filed against Casey Anthony's bounty hunter Orange Co. meter reader Roy Kronk files suit against Leonard Padilla Published On: Sep 25 2012 02:24:08 PM EDT Updated On: Sep 26 2012 07:02:20 AM EDT ORLANDO, Fla. - The California bounty hunter who once helped Casey Anthony bond out of jail could be in a court room because of comments he made on TV about the murder case. ...snip.... Kronk believes the jury trial will take no more than five days. It's unclear when that trial will be scheduled. According to the complaint filed in 2011, Kronk says Padilla made a slew of false statements in the media, including that Kronk was involved in hiding the body of Caylee Anthony, that he conspired with law enforcement to find the body and that he was connected with the Anthony family in covering up the crime.
