In her first public appearance since her murder acquittal in 2011, the unemployed Casey Anthony said that she lives "free off of the kindness of others," along with donations of cash and gift cards from strangers.

Even though she's been called the most hated woman in America, Anthony has a fervent group of supporters who use assumed names and brush off death threats in order to stand by her side.

"I think Casey made some mistakes and I think the picture that we see is a caricature of who she really is," a supporter who goes by Melissa told ABCNews.com. "I don't think we see the whole Casey in what has been presented. There's a hard road ahead of her, but she has a lot of support."

Motion could force Casey Anthony to answer questions under oath

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The bankruptcy attorney for Zenaida Gonzalez told Eyewitness News he will file a motion in federal court on Tuesday to force Casey Anthony answer questions under oath.

Scott Shuker said if the motion is granted, he wants to ask Casey where she gets her money, what commercial interest she has in her story, and how she picked the name Zenaida Gonzalez for her mystery nanny.

If granted, that deposition would take place within the next 30 days.

Attorneys for a woman suing Casey Anthony for defamation want a judge's permission to question her about who has been supporting her since her acquittal in the death of her daughter.

At a creditors meeting earlier this month in her recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Anthony testified that, through her attorneys, she had received money and other gifts from well-wishers.

She didn't identify those people

She also declined to identify who's been supporting her day-to-day needs. Anthony testified that she pays no rent or utilities, and lives "for free," thanks to the kindness of unnamed "friends."

In a new motion, attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez ask for an examination of Anthony, similar to a deposition, in order to find out more about her finances.

Casey Anthony is said to be telling close friends that she's pregnant.

The UK Daily Mail, in a story dated March 13, 2013, is citing a report from the National Enquirer tabloid claiming Anthony is thrilled at the chance to 'prove' that she is a good mother even after she was acquitted of killing her first daughter Caylee.

From the UK Daily Mail:

The National Enquirer published a story based on the claims of multiple unidentified sources saying that the infamous mother is pregnant.

'She just said that she fell in love with a very wealthy man while she's been in hiding. Casey said he's taking care of her financially and he's so obsessed with her that he'll do anything for her,' an unnamed insider told the tabloid.

The former murder suspect was in hiding since the July 2011 trial when she was found not guilty of killing her 2-year-old daughter, only appearing in public last week to declare bankruptcy.

If she continues to keep the identity of her partner a secret, it will be the second time that the identity of her child's father is kept a secret, though she apparently does know the man in this case.

In a new court filing, attorneys for Casey Anthony argue Zenaida Gonzalez's lawyers already had their chance to question Anthony about her finances, and shouldn't be granted a second opportunity.

Trustee seeks auction for Casey Anthony's story

Boynton Beach makes offer to bankruptcy court

ORLANDO, Fla. —Could there be a bidding war for the rights to sell Casey Anthony's story?

That's the latest development in Anthony's bankruptcy case.

Stephen Meininger, the trustee appointed by the court to determine Casey's available assets, has asked the court to hold an auction.

"Due to the intense public interest in the debtor and the property, the trustee believes that there will be interest from others in purchasing the property," Meininger said in a motion filed Friday.

The motion was prompted by an offer from James Schober, who appears to live in Boynton Beach.

Schober has offered the bankruptcy court $10,000 for the rights to any form of publication of Anthony's story.

"Schober’s stated intention is to acquire the property in order to prevent Ms. Anthony or others from publishing or profiting from her story in the future, and therefore his offer is not subject to any contingency based upon the cooperation or promise of cooperation from Ms. Anthony," the motion stated.

Meininger advised the court that the best way to handle any offers for the rights to Anthony's story is to establish a specific bidding procedure.

If anyone else besides Schober offers a bid, an auction would be held with specific rules for bidding "to maximize the value for the estate and its creditors," according to the motion.

Anthony's legal expenses and other bills total about $800,000.
