Good, preventing her from making any more money from her murder.

Does anyone care about her anymore? Let her live with, or be supported by her old moneybags.
IS THAT MASON??? Or is it Mason and another "partner"?

Date set for argument on selling Casey Anthony's life story
Trustee Stephen L. Meininger wants to sell Anthony's story, and says he already has a bidder.
By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel
8:06 p.m. EDT, March 19, 2013

The judge in Casey Anthony's Chapter 7 bankruptcy has set a date next month to hear arguments on whether her life story is an asset that can be sold in order to pay her debts.

The hearing was set for the morning of April 9 at the Sam M. Gibbons U.S. Courthouse in Tampa.

The trustee overseeing Anthony's bankruptcy recently asked U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May for permission to sell "the exclusive worldwide rights in perpetuity to the commercialization of Anthony's life story" including her daughter's death and her high-profile murder trial.

According to trustee Stephen L. Meininger's motion, a man has already made a $10,000 offer to buy the rights in order to prevent Anthony from profiting from them in the future.

Meininger says he anticipates other offers and suggested the rights could be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

The winning bid would go toward paying Anthony's debts, which exceed $792,000.

Kronk lawyers ask to question Casey Anthony in bankruptcy case

Casey Anthony under-reported her assets in bankruptcy filing, new filings state.

By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel
4:41 p.m. EDT, April 3, 2013

Two people suing Casey Anthony for defamation filed court paperwork this week, in the latest developments of an ongoing asset-fight in her recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Former meter reader Roy Kronk, the man who discovered the remains of Anthony's daughter Caylee in late 2008, asked a U.S. bankruptcy judge this week to permit him to question Anthony about her finances.

Kronk's new filing says "it appears that there may be misstatements on [Anthony's] schedules regarding her income, living expenses, and assets."

The motion is the second to seek a deposition-like interrogation of Anthony: A similar request was filed by an attorney for Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman suing because Anthony claimed a similarly named nanny had kidnapped Caylee before the girl was found dead.

Gonzalez's lawyer also filed an objection this week to Anthony's accounting of her assets: Anthony claimed only about $1,000 in assets in bankruptcy paperwork, but attorney Scott Shuker argues that number is too low.

KC not happy about them selling rights to her life story. Claims its not yet written so does not exist.

I say TOUGH!!!
It will be good just to stop her writing it at a later date... hope they sell it real cheap..... and provided KC and the ANTS get no money from it.. I would be happy to see whoever buys the rights make a lot of money off it.

Judge delays decision on Casey Anthony 'life story' sale

Attorneys trying to block sale of story

UPDATED 5:21 PM EDT Apr 09, 2013

TAMPA, Fla. —Casey Anthony's lawyers were back in court on Tuesday, trying to block the sale of their client's life story.

A bankruptcy trustee in Anthony's case wants to put her story up for auction.

Anthony owes nearly $800,000 to several creditors, and the trustee believes selling and telling Anthony's story is the only way to pay it back.

Judge K. Rodney May delayed a decision by 30 days, but he did say he is skeptical because the idea has the potential to shackle her from making a fresh financial start.

The lawyer for the bankruptcy attorney revealed there are three people interested in acquiring the rights to Anthony's story.

One of the people, who bid $10,000 for the story, testified in court via phone and issued a statement.

Austin, Texas, attorney Jim Schober said there are three reasons he wants to buy the rights to Anthony's story.

"(First)... to demonstrate that the asset has present value; second, to ensure that the proceeds from the sale of the asset are applied to the payment of her existing debts (which is a basic premise of Chapter 7 bankruptcy); and third, to ensure that the sale of the asset takes place in the clear light of day," he said.

Also, the bankruptcy trustee and his attorney said they are now following the paper trail to see if there were any fraudulent transfers of money and misstatements of Anthony's assets when she testified last month.

Though the bankruptcy judge denied requests from attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk to ask those questions, they said they are glad to know the trustee is issuing a subpoena to Jose Baez to ask about potential hidden assets like payment for some 2011 tabloid photos Anthony said were set up by Baez.

Casey Anthony will not have to be questioned, judge says
By Amanda Evans, Reporter
Last Updated: Tuesday, April 09, 2013, 4:30 PM

TAMPA -- A bankruptcy judge in Tampa ruled Casey Anthony will not have to answer questions about her case.

But we don't know whether she'll have to sell her life story yet.

A trustee in the bankruptcy case wants to sell Anthony's life story as a means to help pay off her outstanding debts.

The trustee said he has three offers for her life story, and wants a formal auction to sell it.

But in order to do so, Anthony would have to actually tell her life story so it can be sold.

Casey Anthony civil trial must go on before bankruptcy case

ORLANDO -- Casey Anthony will have to head back to civil court after a bankruptcy judge ruled Tuesday that a jury needs to decide if she ruined the reputations of Zenaida Gonzalez and meter reader Roy Kronk.

Attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez said they are now working to get a new trial date set.

Casey Anthony's civil trial was put on hold when she filed for bankruptcy in January. But at a hearing Tuesday, a bankruptcy judge said the case needs to get figured out in civil court first, to see if there even is a case for bankruptcy.

Zenaida Gonzalez claimed her life was ruined with Anthony said a nanny with the same name kidnapped her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. Anthony's lawyers later admitted there was no nanny.

Deadline for Casey Anthony to take financial management course nears
Posted: 12:06 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013

TAMPA, Fla. — Casey Anthony has two weeks to take a financial management course or her bankruptcy filing might be thrown out.

The bankruptcy trustee overseeing the case for the government said Anthony had 60 days from the creditors' proceeding on March 4 to take the class and file the certificate with the court.

Anthony claims she's broke and doesn't want to pay the nearly $800,000 she owes in some cases to federal and local government agencies.

Anthony said she's been unable to find work since she was acquitted of her daughter Caylee's death almost two years ago.

Casey Anthony’s lawyers seek more time

Attorneys look to solve money issues

Published 12:29 PM EDT Apr 22, 2013

ORLANDO, Fla. —Casey Anthony's money woes could be closer to solvency.

Anthony’s bankruptcy trustee and her attorneys say they are closing in on a compromise over the controversial proposal to auction off the rights to her life story.

The two sides filed a joint motion Friday asking for more time to work out a deal. The two sides have until May 9 to present case law to the judge.

In a hearing this month, the judge said he was skeptical about the idea of selling the rights to Anthony's life story to help pay off creditors.

As many as three bidders have expressed interest in buying those rights.

Anthony completes online financial management course

Course required for bankruptcy case

Published 12:32 PM EDT May 01, 2013

ORLANDO, Fla. —Court records show Casey Anthony has competed an online course required to keep her bankruptcy case afloat.

The certificate dated April 26, shows that Anthony completed an online personal financial management course required by the federal bankruptcy court.

In a hearing last month, attorneys for the two people suing Anthony in state court, Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, asked for more time to file objections to Anthony's bankruptcy action.

The judge suggested resolving those two civil suits in state court first to see if Gonzalez and Kronk will still be creditors of Anthony's after the suits are resolved.

The judge will take up the latest motion on May 8 in Tampa.

Hearing next month in Casey Anthony bankruptcy case

By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel
12:44 p.m. EDT, April 29, 2013

A hearing has been set in Casey Anthony's Chapter 7 bankruptcy case next month, when two people suing the infamous former murder defendant for defamation will continue their fight to salvage their lawsuits.

The suits, brought separately by Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, were put in jeopardy by Anthony's January bankruptcy filing, which seeks the discharge of all of her debts and any other claims against her.

Gonzalez and Kronk plan to argue their suits should be exempt from discharge, and they have filed motions asking U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May to allow the suits to proceed in state circuit court.

At the next hearing, set for May 8 in Tampa, their attorneys will ask May to extend the deadline for their legal challenges to the discharge of Anthony's debts until after the suits are settled in the state court.

Meanwhile, Anthony's lawyers filed paperwork indicating she has completed a "personal financial management" course," a requirement of her bankruptcy. She took the course online, the court filing says.

Search group objects to Casey Anthony's bankruptcy discharge
Texas Equusearch: Casey Anthony's lies cost more than $100,000.

By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel
3:40 p.m. EDT, May 6, 2013

Another debtor is fighting Casey Anthony's attempt to clean her financial slate through bankruptcy: Texas Equusearch, the search-and-recovery group that looked for Anthony's daughter in 2008.

Texas Equusearch is suing Anthony in state court, alleging that she wasted the group's time and money with a fruitless search for 2-year-old Caylee, who Anthony knew was actually dead. Now, the group has filed a federal suit objecting to Anthony's recent Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing.

"As a direct result of [Anthony's] false representations and omissions," Equusearch spent over $100,000 searching for Caylee, and turned down more than 15 requests for help from other families, the new court paperwork says.

I'm glad Tim Miller is still fighting for what's right. I think he should also sue Cindy and George for wasting his time and resources.

I'm glad to hear that Judge Perry saw what the rest of us saw. Too bad the jury didn't.
