Anyone here a Tudor history fan? Anne Boleyn, or any of the Tudor era people?

I have other subjects, we will see where these go. I may be a lone history geek at this point!

I love this topic, Hiram. Hello, all :28

My senior thesis was on Anne Boleyn. I graduated early, it was a summer course, so didn't spend the time on it I should have. Does this count? :98

Would definitely enjoy a discussion.

I LOVE Anne. She got a raw deal, her daughter suffered as well, I have some very not so nice opinions regarding Henry VIII and how he treated all who loved and served him. I too, will be basing my Masters thesis on Tudor History. Though, I have not yet, zeroed in on a base subject. I think next summer at Oxford, along with visiting many Tudor sites, should help. If all are ok with it, I would like to hear everyones thoughts, opinions questions, etc., regarding Anne Boleyn. There are so many personalities of the Tudor period. Anyone else have a favorite, theywould like to discuss?

Geek ...maybe I'm a novice who got caught by history bug that eluded me as student as the nest emptied. My interest is mostly ordinary lifestyle and societal stuff which oddly seems to mesh well with hubby interest in historical battles etc.

I love the everyday life stories of people during wars. I mentioned a bit of it on the World War 2 thread. Do you mean homefront type stories?
