WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2015, 11:00AM - Plea Hearing Scheduled

Let's see if the judge has some balls for this continuous offender.
They should make part of his plea deal to have him fully compensate prior and current monetary damages.
He needs to feel the pain of his actions, and the victims need to feel a relief.

Blossom's plea deal seems to be for BOTH current "driving while revoked / suspended" charges so the plea MAY be a heavy hand.
Will he spend his next birthday in JAIL ????? :91

Ferguson judge withdraws arrest warrants

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The new judge in the Ferguson Municipal Court announced an order Monday to withdraw all arrest warrants issued before December 31, 2014.

Judge Donald McCullin, who was appointed in June 2015, also announced changes to conditions for pre-trial release in a Ferguson news release Monday afternoon. Defendants will be given new court dates along with alternative dispositions like payment plans, community service, or commuting fines for indigent persons.

"These changes should continue the process of restoring confidence in the Court, alleviating fears of the consequences of appearing in Court, and giving many residents a fresh start,” said McCullin. “Many individuals whose license has been suspended will be able to obtain them and take advantage of the benefits of being able to drive. Moreover, defendants will not be disadvantaged in being afforded pre-trial release because of the inability to make bond.”

If a defendant continually fails to appear on their scheduled court date, an arrest warrant may be issued or a request to the Director of Revenue can made seek a set-off of the defendant’s tax return. If an arrest warrant is issued for a minor traffic violation, the defendant will not be incarcerated, but instead released on their own recognizance and given another court date.

All active warrants more than five years old will be withdrawn. In cases where the Director of Revenue suspended a defendant’s driver’s license solely for failing to appear in court or pay a fine, the license will be reinstated pending final disposition.

City of Ferguson Mayor James Knowles said McCullin issued the orders with the Ferguson City Council’s support.

Great. Amnesty... always a bit hit with criminals.

This should work in well with the "snitches get stitches" law.

High-profile St. Louis cabbie says he was fired for political stances

St. Louis activist/cabbie Umar Lee says Laclede Cab Co. has fired him for his social-justice activities.

About 2 p.m. Monday, Lee posted the following on Twitter: "Responding to right-wing trolls @LacledeCab fired me today. There is no job that is worth me surrendering my freedom of speech."

The dismissal comes after Lee was featured in a Post-Dispatch story about a neighborhood dispute in St. Charles County. Lee believes the dispute is racially driven and became involved in documenting it.

Lee also was a familiar figure over the last year at protests in Ferguson following the killing of Michael Brown last August.

He said company officials had previously expressed their opposition to his visible involvement and had warned him about taking part in protests and taking his cab to them. "So I started parking it blocks away," Lee said Monday.

But after the St. Charles story appeared Monday on the Post-Dispatch front page, Lee said company owner Dave McNutt called him and fired him.

Laclede officials could not be reached for comment.

Nice job, keeping up with all of this, Rummy! :51

Blossom has committed to being at the Lake St. Louis protest on Sunday. :52

Think he'll show? LOL!

It was fun picking on Umar today. Can't believe he lost his job so quickly. I didn't see anyone tweet the cab company. I think Umar blocked me after I suggested burning bridges was a career limiting move. I also mentioned to him that Uber was hiring!! :lol

As far as Blossom showing up?

He has to plea on Wednesday. After all this time I am guessing its an arranged Plea deal (Guilty), and there SHOULD be no reason to not sentence him on the spot.

He might be in the slammer by Sunday, opening his soap and other assorted toiletries gift pack.

Facing court action on TWO crimes did not stop Blossom committing more crime.

He required THREE cases pending before he stopped.

Ya just gotta keep arresting and charging these dopes.. The are very SLOW learners!!!
