CNN is reporting the Saint Louis Prosecutor has informed the media the Saint Louis grand jury will meet on Friday for a final review and presentation of evidence. Following that presentation a decision of indictment (True Bill or No True Bill) will be announced.

Speculation of a weekend or Monday decision follows as a result of county officials previously stating a 48 hour head’s up will be provided to law enforcement and Government agencies. (CNN STORY)

Saint Louis Mayor Will Permit Limited Amount of Riots, Arson and Looting, But Murder Will Probably Be Frowned Upon…
Posted on November 19, 2014 by sundance

The mayor has not fully identified the amount of allowable violence he will permit, which leaves Saint Louis citizens to wonder what will be the allowable quota for businesses to be looted, torched, and/or individuals to be attacked? Will murder be discouraged, or frowned upon?… so many questions.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay has requested 400 members of the National Guard to help in the city after the grand jury’s decision is announced in the Michael Brown case.

Hallelujah! What is the charge this time?

Funny that they snatched him with the GJ decision looming.

I think just perhaps the appeasement mentality crowd has had a little cold reality thrown in its face and is waking up. I know what the Mayor "Just riot a little bit folks" has said but I have a feeling we are going to see officers armed and protected to the teeth when the announcement is made.

Ferguson officer Darren Wilson in talks to resign from police force, sources say
By Evan Perez and Chimon Prokupecz, CNN
November 21, 2014 -- Updated 0407 GMT (1207 HKT)

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed teenager Michael Brown on August 9, is in the final stages of negotiations with city officials to resign, according to people close to the talks.

Wilson maintains he hasn't done anything wrong, and the resignation talks have hinged on whether a grand jury returns an indictment against him in the death of Brown, people close to the talks said.

Wilson has told associates he would resign as a way to help ease pressure and protect his fellow officers. Wilson has expressed concern about resigning while the grand jury was hearing evidence for fear it would appear he was admitting fault.

Wilson could announce as soon as Friday his plans to resign, the same day a St. Louis County grand jury meets to deliberate and possibly decide on an indictment.

The talks could still collapse, these people said. Wilson doesn't know what the grand jury will do and if they return charges he could change his mind.

Safeguards in Place to Protect Identity of Jurors in Ferguson Case
Brett Blume November 21, 2014 9:25 AM

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Once the grand jury makes its decision on whether to charge Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, members will go back to their everyday lives.

KMOX News wanted to know about the safety of those jurors given the high-profile case and the strong emotions surrounding it.

Washington University law professor Peter Joy says despite safeguards, no system is 100 percent fool-proof.

“We trust, or at least hope, that the computer system is secure enough and that the clerks are faithful to their job duties and will not share the names of the grand jurors,” he says.

Joy says normally, the U.S. legal system is set up so the public doesn’t know which cases are being considered by which jury members.

MSNBC is reporting that the judge in the Michael Brown case has not agreed to release evidence if the grand jury does not indict Darren Wilson. This according to a press release published Sunday by a court administrator.

http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/judge-michael-brown-case-may-not-release-evidence#th4223993-c86147207

That doesn’t mean she won’t release significant parts of the testimony, but if the report is true (I haven’t found any mention of it other than from MSNBC; and they regularly distort information) that contradicts statements made by prosecuting attorney McCulloch, who made it seem like the release was a done deal.

Anyone see anything else about this from other sources?

Police: Woman allegedly kills herself with gun bought to prepare for Ferguson unrest
By CNN Justice Reporter Evan Perez and Producer Shimon Prokupecz
November 23, 2014 -- Updated 2358 GMT (0758 HKT)

St. Louis (CNN) -- A woman appears to have accidentally fatally shot herself in the head with a gun bought to prepare for possible Ferguson-related unrest, according to sources briefed on the police investigation.

The shooting occurred Friday night in downtown St. Louis, the city's Metropolitan Police Department said, in an area dominated by vacant lots beside a football stadium.

The female victim, identified in a police report as Becca Campbell, 26, was a passenger in a car involved in an auto accident. Her 33-year-old boyfriend was driving, the sources told CNN.

The boyfriend, who wasn't identified, told police that the couple had bought a gun because of fears of unrest related to the pending grand jury decision on the shooting of Michael Brown, the sources said.

He told investigators that as they drove late Friday night, the victim waved a gun, jokingly saying the couple were ready for Ferguson, the sources said.

He ducked to get out of the way of the gun and accidentally rear-ended another car. He said the accident caused the gun to go off and she was struck by a bullet in the head, the sources said.

The victim was rushed to a hospital but died.

The investigation is continuing because police want to be sure the story as told by the boyfriend is correct, the sources said. Police are awaiting gun trace results, as part of the ongoing investigation.

Grand Jury decision is supposedly in

Looks like they are at least letting the kiddos get safely home from school before they announce the decision.

I heard them discussing this on FoxNews. Basically that the Judge may not agree to release it, or at least not everything.

FERGUSON, Mo. --
Ben Crump, the lead attorney for the family of Michael Brown, has been notified that the grand jury decision has been reached in the Ferguson police shooting.

The family does not know what the ruling is at this time.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon was traveling to St. Louis from the Capitol on Monday afternoon, spokesman Scott Holste told the AP, but did not say why.
