Joshua L. Williams Sentenced "Fire-boy" as Rumpole calls him, was sentenced today for his arson, burglary and theft charges at the QuikTrip station (across from where Antonio Martin was shot) on Christmas Eve, 2014. I don't know any conditions, there are no articles on it yet - there may be reduction for time served, but he was sentenced to 8 years in the Department of Corrections. He was sentenced to a total of 13 years, 3 months ... but each count is concurrent with others. From the court docket: Arson 1st Degree - Guilty Plea 11/02/2015 8 years incarceration DOC, concurrent with cts 2 and 3 Burglary - 2nd Degree - Guilty Plea 11/02/2015 5 years incarceration DOC, concurrent with cts 1 and 3 Theft/Stealing less than $500 - Guilty Plea 11/02/2015 3 months incarceration DOC, concurrent with cts 1 and 2 |

He's a kid that made a STUPID choice, got caught, and HAS TO serve his time. But what pisses me off , is there are still those who burned down businesses, entire car lots, etc. on the night of the grand jury announcement, at the urging of "WTF is Mike Brown"'s mama's boyfriend, caught on camera ... who need to be locked up too! |

I was curious how close this is to Ferguson. It's down the road. One dead, one critical outside memorial for dead man in St. Louis By Christine Byers, Joel Currier | St. Louis Post-Dispatch | December 11, 2015, 6:15PM ST. LOUIS - Mourners who gathered after a funeral Friday became witnesses to violence when dozens of gunshots interrupted their afternoon meal. One man died and another is in critical condition after the shooting in the parking lot of the New Northside Conference Center on Goodfellow Boulevard near West Florissant Avenue. One victim was shot in the chest and the other in the head, police said. Rev. Rodrick Burton of New Northside Missionary Baptist Church said he was angered by the shooting outside a building that also houses a day care center. "A family should be able to mourn a loved one," Burton said. "The amount of bullets flying at a family life center is mind-numbing ... especially this time of year when we're supposed to be talking about peace." About 100 people were attending the post-funeral gathering called a repast, Burton said. An unknown number of children were attending the day care center at the same time. The gunshots were heard around 2:30 p.m. Bystanders were seen crying and screaming outside the center. Many of the families including children stayed in the building until 5 p.m. when police cleared the parking lot. The funeral service was for Sherrod Lamar White, 27, who died Nov. 30, said his aunt, Elizabeth McPherson. She said his cause of death has not yet been determined. She said another of her nephews was shot in the stomach and leg in the incident Friday. She said she now lives in Dallas, Texas, but lived in St. Louis until she was 10. "This city is out of control," she said. "I'm glad I left."
