Molly's 3x8 ov score rule NZ 95/3 * (8/20 ov) ===> Final score 285 I doubt that will happen. The rule is based on RR increasing towards the end of the game.. and it would be hard to up Munro's 287% SR |

I would guess that will be IT for NZ innings. The rain looks heavy enough to give up on the entire match? But... they could shag about for another hour or more.. they have until 10:18 to squeeze in just 5 overs for WI.. to make this a match. Set some sort of DL TARGET for WI to make in 5 overs..... it will be a farcical result  BTW The forecast is wet again on Wednesday, and also for Wellington on Saturday (1st Pakistan game). |

Watching the Pre-game BS show  Weather LOOKS ok..ish...... but some rain showers later seems inevitable.  The team that wins the toss should opt to field... they will have a better idea of target and number of overs when they do bat. The team that does bat first needs to bat like hell from the outset.. much like NZ (Munro) did last (abandoned) game. ETA WHO listens to me?.... Not Kane Williamson. He won the toss and opted to bat? It might make sense IF there is no rain... we'll see |
