I HOPE Smith can get his double century :)

As far as Australia "running away with the game".... as always we need to see the other side bat on the wicket before being sure if 450+ is a "good" score. As I recall England recently scored 500+ on 1st innings in India.. and still LOST the test.

You were right, Rumpole.
Kohli is all padded up and ready to bat, taking one for the team. ;)

I have NOT been paying close attention to this game so don't have a gut feel for how it might play out from here.

It's a worry that play has not completed the 1st innings for both teams and it's day 4 already. Somebody needs to get on with things.. bowling and/or batting. Perhaps the pitch needs to show deterioration now that we are into the 4th day.

TO WIN from Here...
Australia need to take 14 wickets... Take 4 then score (maybe) 300 runs as a target, and bowl India out again (10 wickets)

India Can bat on from here, knock off the deficit, maybe gain a small lead, then they need to bowl Australia out (10 wickets), with enough time to bat again and better any (small) Target set

Indian Commentators seem to think that India have good chance of a win :roll

They're dreamin' Mate!! :cool

I do agree that Australia have no show!! They have not taken a wicket in the morning 2 hours.. nor do they look like taking one... ever.. certainly NOT 14 wickets... even if they did not require 2 of the remaining 5 sessions for batting themselves. However, India not only require more batting time in this innings, but a second innings (a session or 2) as well, AND THEY have to take 10 Australian wickets.... not gonna happen.

I declare a DRAW now :cool
